NEW ARRIVAL BACK TO RESCUE:  COPPER II comes back to our rescue due to family hardship after being adopted in 2015.  He came back with a few extra pounds which his foster mom is helping him with that.  If you are looking for a very affectionate and very friendly dog, Copper is your boy!  When he is sitting next to you he cuddles like a puppy and seems to enjoy the security of being next to his human. Copper has a normal beagle appetite for food and his foster mom says he is also very obedient. He is happy to just lay around during the day or spend time out in the yard.  He is crate trained.  He needed a refresher on housebreaking again and he has aced that in a very short time!  He loves going for car rides!  Copper is a pretty quiet dog and not much of a barker. He respects your personal property and is not destructive in the least.   He gets along well with all of the other dogs in his foster home, and actually his best friend is a little chihuahua.  Copper is anxiously awaiting a new forever home. COPPER would do best in a home without cats and appears to get along best with female dogs.  He gets along well with male dogs but does appear to show some dominance.
